When I started with my game I first had to think of a SDG to make my game about. This wasn’t too hard as I liked sharks and thus chose option 14: life in the sea. Which goes about how they want to clean the oceans of trash and make sure aquatic life can life freely. I first started with an idea about a shark eating fish in a maze. But It didn’t stick for me so I had to change. The 2nd idea was to make a boss battle against a pufferfish. However this also didn’t feel like what I wanted. And thus my final idea was made: A game about a fish trying to get food but trash falling from above making a hinderance for the fish. Humans were behind the trash as they pollute the ocean. A message to not pollute and a good idea of a game were born. I had to follow a Unity tutorial first though so I could understand how everything works. After a while I was able to begin my game about a fish in the ocean. My exams were also due near when I started which caused delays. But I didn’t stop creating till I finally made my game named Aquaris. There were other things I wanted to add but didn’t understand how to yet like textures. I made all sprite work myself except for the food.
